Qualifying information for the 2017 World Series of Youth Lacrosse has been released. Once again, the Road to Denver begins with five regional qualifying tournaments. The regional breakdown is as follows:
North (April 8 – 9, 2017: Long Island, NY): Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont
East (April 8 – 9, 2017; Baltimore, MD): Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia
South (April 1 – 2, 2017; Charlotte, NC): Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia
Central (February 11 – 12, 2017; Dallas, TX): Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Wisconsin
West (February 18 – 19, 2017; Irvine, CA): Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming
Each region will hold a qualifying tournament in either February or April. Any team may enter the regional tournaments, however space is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Teams that place high enough in each region will advance to the 2017 World Series of Youth Lacrosse to be held in Denver, Colorado over the Fourth of July.
